STEPHEN D. SPRENKLE:


Mr. Sprenkle is a certified specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization,
and limits his practice to the representation of public safety officers.

ADMITTED: State Bar of California. U.S. District Courts, Northern District of California.

COMMUNITY: Mr. Sprenkle started the AYSO VIP soccer program for special needs children in Monterey County in 1998 and continues to actively participate in that program as well as an annual tournament for teams from Northern California and Nevada that he helped start in 2003. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Starlantz Foundation which provides healthcare services and agroforestry support for peasant mountain farmers In Haiti.

INTERESTS: His favorite hobby is his oak tree reforestation project here in Monterey County.


MICHAEL P. GEORGARIOU II:

COMMUNITY: Mr. Georgariou is an active and devoted member of his church. He serves on the board of trustees of Ariel Theatrical, Inc.

PERSONAL: Mr. Georgariou is bilingual (English-Spanish) from serving his church in Madrid, Spain for two years. He was born and raised in Salinas, California. He graduated from Palma High School in Salinas, California. He is a devoted husband and father. He enjoys golf, darts, theater, and movies.


SARA J. TORTORELLI:

COMMUNITY: Ms. Tortorelli is on the board of trustees for the Church of the Wayfarer Foundation in Carmel which administers charitable gifts and provides scholarships to youth living in the Monterey Bay.

PERSONAL: Ms. Tortorelli is an active member of her church and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs.


RUSSELL D. JACOBSON:


Mr. Jacobson has been practicing workers’ compensation law in California since 1994. His involvement in workers’
compensation began in 1989 while working as a firefighter for CalFire, he was injured when a burning oak tree fell
on him. He had to retire from the fire service, so he entered law school, and now brings over 25 years of experience
in the system to his practice.

COMMUNITY: Mr. Jacobson was the first supervising attorney of the workers’ compensation clinic for the East San Jose Law Center, serving low income workers in Santa Clara County, and received recognition for his pro bono work from the Santa Clara Bar Association and the State Bar of California. He has served as President for the non-profit DeLaveaga Disc Golf Club, and was the Tournament Director for the 2011 Disc Golf World Championships in the Monterey Bay area, with 432 players from 26 countries, and which offered the sport it’s first $100,000 prize purse. He is currently president of a bowling league in Santa Cruz.

INTERESTS: Mr. Jacobson enjoys disc golf, ball golf, fishing, bowling, playing cards, fantasy sports, and discussing politics and conspiracy theories.
